John Kascenska will be joining us to teach the three day AIARE Level I Avalanche awareness course. John is a wealth of knowledge. He guides and teaches for the climbing school in the winter, and has his own guiding operation just over the border in VT, Kingdom Adventure Guides. Alain Comeau will be instructing the Snow and Ice Anchors clinics on both Saturday and Sunday. This full day course offers important information about construction and equalization of anchor systems for both snow and ice climbing. If you are heading to the big mountains, glaciers or doing Alpine Climbs this is a skill you need to have. Alain is the owner/lead instructor of New England Mountain Guides and comes with over thirty years of experience guiding internationally.
