NH climbing great Henry Barber will be at the Asolo demo booth helping outfit Ice Fest with a killer line up of climbing boots.  From Henry about boot fitting:

“Fit is critical to not only performance but warmth also, come by our booth and find out why. We will be fitting all clients using a Brannock device so everyone will have a good idea about their fit and potential fit issues for any footwear purchase.  Asolo is known for their women’s fit as we use women’s lasts (shoe forms).”

The main fleet of Asolo boots will be the Alta Via and the 6B+. These boots are great all round boots and perfect for anyone considering their first winter boot or best all round ice boot purchase.

Asolo will also have a few highly technical demo boots called the Freney and the Eiger. These two boots are super light weight and excellent for mixed climbing. The Freney are also made for rock climbing in the mountains during the shoulder seasons of late fall and early spring when crampons are necessary for the approach and descent. “They feature an asymmetrical last which allows excellent edging all around the toe. The Eiger has been a proven high performer by key testers, guides and top climbers all around the US and Canada.”

Asolo will have some newer versions of the Freney and the New Mt Blanc coming in March 2019.  Stop by their booth to talk shop and get a great fitting boot!
