The Ice Fest wants to send a big warm welcome to Ryan Stefiuk, a brand spankin’ new guide to the 2014 Ice Fest lineup! Ryan is based out of Western Massachusetts with the Catskills ice and sketchy mixed climbing at his back door. In fact, when we think of Ryan it is how he effortlessly scales up grade WI5 ice and doesn’t flinch at the sketchy hard yet classic mixed climbing the Catskills. AND he is a solid guide and a great guy. He often books it up here to the White Mountains to scale up just about anything, and has also done trips out to the Cascades, Newfoundland, the Adirondacks, and the Gunks. Stay tuned as we a currently finalizing our guest guide assignments for the 2014 Mount Washington Valley Ice Fest. Soon you’ll be able to check out what Ryan is guiding, or perhaps catch up with him over a beer at the Apres Party at IME after a good day of climbing! Welcome aboard Ryan!
