Good evening Ice Festers and Happy Holidays! We’ve got two exciting ladies to tell you about tonight! First up is returning Guest Guide Andrea Charest. She comes to us from Vermont where she co-owns the local climbing gym (Petra Cliffs) and crushes everything she can get her hands (and tools) on. She’s also been invited to compete in the mixed and speed competitions at the Ouray Ice Festival this year! Andrea was a first time Guest Guide at Ice Fest last year and got such great reviews that we had to have her back again this year. On the Saturday of Ice Fest she’ll be guiding the Newbie Ice Climbing Clinic. She loves to share her passion for climbing with the people around her, and her smile is infectious! You definitely don’t want to miss out on this opportunity.

Next is first time Guest Guide, Lindsay Fixmer who’s coming to us from North Carolina! We know what you’re thinking… Yes, there is ice in North Carolina and Lindsay loves to climb it! She’s an awesome overall climber and is just as at home cragging with friends on the weekends as she is styling up some high alpine peak. Lindsay has traveled all over the world for climbing and has been teaching and guiding outdoors since 2004. She specializes in teaching new folks the movements necessary to move on ice efficiently. She will be joining Andrea on Saturday for the Newbie Ice Climbing Clinic! Between the two of these great women, you’ll be climbing like an old pro!

To sign up for their clinic you can call us directly at 603.356.7064. Or you can go to our Contact Us page and fill out the pre-registration form!!
