Are you ready to take your ice climbing to the next level? Want to fine-tune your skills or climb an area classic with a top-notch guide? Then this blog post is for you! Today, we highlight the advanced clinics and guided climbs that will be offered during Ice Fest.

Once you’ve mastered the basics of climbing fat, steep, ice, it’s time to learn what to do when the terrain gets a little thinner. If you would like to learn how to safely tip-toe your way up inches-thick ice, then check out our  brand new clinic, Climbing on Thin Ice. We are super lucky to have guest guide Ian Osteyee on loan from the Adirondacks to share the tricks of navigating this tricky, often intimidating terrain. He will be teaching this clinic Saturday and Sunday, so you have two chances to score a spot!
