We just want to send a BIG thank you to Randy Rackliff for once again allowing us to use his artwork for the 2015 Mount Washington Valley Ice Fest! His artwork has become iconic, and at this point the MWV Ice Fest would feel naked without it! If you haven’t taken a moment to check out Randy’s artwork, do so now! He is incredibly talented, and also incredibly humble. And it doesn’t stop there. He is the man behind Cold Cold World packs, and these packs are “designed uncompromisingly for the alpine environment” for the alpine climber. They are light and fast, and have exactly what you need. An Ice Fest favorite is The Chernobyl. The Chernobyl is “a medium-sized pack ideal for one to two day alpine climbs or dayclimbs in the winter. Clean and efficient- you won’t find a single superfluous feature- yet it has everything you really need for serious climbing. The lightweight design is backed up with bomber materials that won’t shred after one pitch of hauling. The universal ice tool attachment will fit just about any tool including leashless ergonomic models.” Can you say “sweet”!?!? And thanks again Randy!
