New guest guide to MWV Ice Fest, Matty Bowman is no stranger to the area. Matt is co owner of White Mountain Cafe in Gorham, from which many adventures north of the notch have been sprung since 2007.
Matt began his love of mountaineering while still at the University of Maine, Farmington. A winter care taking at Harvard Cabin on Mount Washington solidified his love for adventure, and the White Mountains. Matt has been clocking miles in the backcountry ever since, getting out with friends and family, and introducing his two kids to his adventures. Currently a guide for Northeast Mountaineering in Glen, NH Matt is psyched to share his knowledge of the area and expertise with new people.
