Welcome back Lindsay Fixmer!  With a background in coaching and managing climbing gyms, she is a dialed instructor and loves to focus on technical skills with her clients.  In 2017 Lindsay went on a climbing expedition in India with fellow crushers Anna Pfaff and Savannah Cummins.  Despite limited weather windows while on the Tetleh glacier, they managed to summit a previously unclimbed rock spire of Peak 5400, as well as attempt new routes on Peak R6 and Peak 5750.  And that was just the start of the trip!
Lindsay lives and guides in the Sierras spring-fall and Bozeman, MT in the winter months.  She also is a talented singer and plays guitar!!  She is pictured below, October 2018, on Blade and the Chalice.  Photo by Tim Banfield.

Jim Shimberg is guiding at Ice Fest this year, bringing a wealth of knowledge with him.  He founded Rhino Guides in NH in 1984 and has been going strong ever since.  He is fresh off of some sweet climbing in Norway, last year.  You can also find him in just about every local guidebook, Jim has been putting up lines all over the northeast from Lake Willoughby (Call of the Wild was the first grade 6 in New England!) to Cathedral here in the valley, and internationally as well.   Shim is sponsored by Sterling Rope and LaSportiva.  Happy to have this super positive guy smiling at Ice Fest for another year!!
